Playing Air Penguin sure is fun, especially since the main character is unable to swim and yet can soar through the air. If you have already started playing the game, there may be some instances where some things are quite unclear to you or certain achievements are difficult to get. One thing that you need to know about Air Penguin is that there are always power-ups that can be used to make the bird jump higher or soar forward further. Besides collecting them one at a time, you can always buy said power-ups by using the game’s currency which is the golden fishies. So how are you able to get more of those fishies? There are multiple ways you can go about getting them. First, just play the game as usual and you will notice that in every level, there are five of them just waiting to be grabbed. Make sure that you get as much as you can because if you fail to do so, you will need to restart again without the fishies you have acquired before starting. Another method is to play in survival mode, which will earn you fishies every time you do it. In addition, the further you get in survival mode, the more of them you will be able to earn. Finally, if you do not want to go through the hassle of collecting, you can always buy fishies for a little under $10 and that will give you 1500 of them.

Moving your way around the game can sometimes you to make mistakes, in which these Air Penguin tips will teach you what to do and what you need to avoid.  For example, at one point or another you will be encountering glaciers with holes in them. These are slippery and you cannot make the penguin jump over them. You need to avoid jumping on this type of glacier altogether. While seals are adorable in real life, they are pesky creatures in Air Penguin. When you hit one of them, it will cause the penguin to bounce off the body and land on the icy water. Of course, the penguin cannot swim and you will have to restart again. One of your worst enemies in this game are sharks and one of the best Air Penguin tips that can be given is to generally avoid them. They can be provoked by jumping near the mouth but this is very risky. If you can, just go around the shark to avoid being killed instantly.

Finally, you will need to time your jumps perfectly especially if you are encountering a slick glacier. In one, you will not be able instead only be able to slide. Avoid every sea creature such as seals while you are on one and when you see the sign that says “jump”, do so fast to avoid falling into the water and drowning. Don’t forget that you can hop on sea turtles and essentially ride them like a horse to swim through water. In this particular case, you can also swim back to catch some missed fishies!
